Hey everyone!!
Howdy from the great golden north! (See pic below) Things have been awesome in the little area of 3 Hills Alberta!!! The work is moving forward, at least for an area that hasn't had full-time missionaries in 20 years!! We have 1 investigator rapidly heading into the waters of baptism and more on their way! We've had everything from tornado warnings, Sister missionary cats, crazy people, huge fires, giant tractors, fingers that *aren't* missing (I promise!), bbq's, bikes, really good food, and AMAZING ruhbarb pie!
Oh, did I mention that I had a family of lemurs crawling on my arm on Saturday? Yeah, that's right. Lemurs!!! The only local business that's accepted service from us is the Guzoo (that should stand for Greatest-Ultimatest-Zoo-ever!!!!) So we got there around 1 o'clock on Saturday and helped them burn an old stockade in a huge bon fire! (We're talking 30 foot diameter, and 10-15 foot sustained flames!) After we finished that, and built a new fence (and I didn't get my finger cut off) We got to play around with the animals!! So I got:
Licked by wolves
had a stare down with a family of bears
was in the same stock as several bulls
held a baby lynx
held other 6 week/month old kittens
and played with half a dozen lemurs!!
It was awesome!!!!!!!!!! Oh, they also gave me an old (fur-trapper style) gopher trap which I may or may not hide around the apartment...
Keep the faith!
Spread the fire!

P.S. sorry I forgot to get a picture of the SMALL cut on my finger
